I came across At Home with Allee Willis in the Times’ Home and Garden section today. She’s inspired me to get off my keister and start posting again. I love unrestrained kitsch and I’m also a bit of a chair hoarder, so this is a woman after my own heart. Impressive kitsch collection don’t you think?

Another season has come to an end at the Brimfield Antique and Flea Market Show. Last week, I explored the fields with the original “eye”, my bargain hunting Mom. I just borrowed Obsessive Consumption from the library, and I can’t put it down. Since 2006, Kate Bingaman-Burt has been documenting her daily purchases on her blog Obsessive Consumption: What Did You Buy Today?. The summer into fall transition can be tricky to plan for. Everyone always advocates layers layers and more layers.
